EveryThai Feast

Scheduled for late summer or early fall 2024 in collaboration with Chim Media and Food Karma Projects. This event invites New York City’s diverse culinary talents to showcase their creative flair with Thai-inspired dishes. From authentic Thai eateries to a wide array of international restaurants, participants are encouraged to explore and reinterpret Thai culinary traditions.

Participating restaurants face two challenges. First, they must present a signature Thai-inspired dish tailored for the event, competing in a popular vote contest where attendees sample and vote for their favorites, creating a vibrant community atmosphere. Second, chefs can join a themed competition, crafting dishes around specific themes, from traditional favorites like Pad Thai to innovative or lesser-known Thai dishes. This competition showcases the diversity of Thai cuisine, motivating chefs to explore creativity while honoring tradition and innovation.

In addition to the culinary contests, Thai Feastival enriches the experience with traditional and contemporary Thai dance, music, and art and craft exhibitions. This multidimensional approach ensures that the festival is not only a gastronomic journey but also a celebration of Thai culture, art, and heritage. Attendees can expect a vibrant and immersive experience where the spirit of Thailand is brought to life in the heart of New York City.
